Job Description

Dr. Chen Zhao is seeking a highly motivated and organized postbaccalaureate fellow. Dr. Zhao's group is focusing on investigating the interactions among tumor cells, microbes and immune cells in lung cancer using advanced tissue imaging and spatial-transcriptomic techniques.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and have excellent organization skills with a strong academic background (GPA >3.8). Prior wet lab research experience, including molecular cloning, is required. Experience with cell/tissue culture, biochemical techniques, bacterial culture, molecular biology and mouse handling is preferred, but not required. 

This position is ideal for recent graduates seeking a temporary research role (minimum 2-year commitment) prior to pursuing graduate or medical school.
