Additional Information
Emily Xu is currently an IRTA Postbaccalaureate Fellow. She obtained her B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Michigan. In the Nguyen Lab, she is working on developing small molecule binders of mEAK-7, an alternative binding partner of mTOR, for therapeutic use in mEAK-7-positive cancers. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in pharmacology after her training at the NIH.
