Additional Information

Ryan Hannon is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He received his Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology with a Music Minor from Northeastern University in 2018. Prior to medical school, Ryan worked as a research associate at bluebird bio within their Oncology R&D department characterizing lead candidate CAR and TCR T-cell immunotherapies. He has oncology/hematology research experience through additional labs at the Yale Cancer Center, John’s Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Pfizer to name a few. Ryan joined the Nguyen lab in 2024 as part of the Medical Research Scholars Program (MRSP) to study different manufacturing strategies for clinical CAR T-cell production. In his free time, he enjoys singing, running, and exploring the DMV area.
