RESEARCH SUMMARY

Dr. Khan's research focuses on breast cancer brain metastases. He uses in vitro models of the blood-brain barrier to determine the molecular pathways mediating drug permeability into the brain and assess its therapeutic potential in multiple mouse models of breast cancer brain metastases. He is also exploring the role of metastasis suppressor gene (NM23) and antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) in targeting breast cancer metastasis.
