RESEARCH SUMMARY
Dr. Busby received his Ph.D. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics. He joined the Cell Biology of Genomes Group in 2020 as an iCURE Post-doctoral Fellow. Dr. Busby’s research aims to investigate epigenetic mechanisms that regulate genome organization at oncogenic gene loci. Using single-molecule imaging approaches and high-throughput microscopy, Dr. Busby’s objective is to understand context-specific genome architecture at the single-cell level.
