RESEARCH SUMMARY
The specific aim of my research is to search for the NDR (Negative Differential Resistance) behavior for iron-storage protein ferritins and its corresponding metal-core reconstituted analogs. To investigate the solid-state electron transport property for muscle protein collagen under different conditions. To address the storage issues of ferritin and collagen proteins and their stability as bioelectronic materials. Finally, to correlate the ligand binding induced cellular membrane deformation with the changes in the cell membrane stiffness.
