Additional Information

Aimal Abid is a current summer intern in the High School Scientific Training and Enrichment Program 2.0 (HiSTEP 2.0). She recently graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High School, and is an incoming freshman at Johns Hopkins University. During her undergraduate career, Aimal intends to major in Neuroscience on the Pre-Med track. In the Nguyen Lab, she is working on the lab's AI project utilizing deep learning and spatial histopathology approaches to characterize morphological and molecular changes in Head and Neck Cancers (HNC) for future AI/spatial transcriptomic analysis.
